Review: MediaDevil Typeguard
In the University Of Glamorgan's IT suites, there is a ban on food, but not drink.
I have always found this a bit strange, given the carnage a spilled drink can cause to a computer keyboard compared to a few sandwich crumbs.
Perhaps they should consult MediaDevil, who have come up with a slinky solution to significantly reducing expensive repairs caused by any kind of messy mishaps where your MacBook is concerned.
The MediaDevil Typeguard for MacBook & MacBook Pro comes in both clear and anti-bacterial editions.
Both protect your keyboard from dust, liquid spills, and other contaminants, but the latter is also embedded with silver nanoparticles, which are scientifically proven to prevent the growth of over 600 types of bacteria.
Both are easy to apply (they just drop over your keyboard), require no adhesive, and are washable and reusable.
On first use the keyboard feels a bit strange, and you're aware that something is different. However, after some continued use the barrier diminishes in favour of a softer typing experience and the knowledge that you're beloved MacBook or MacBook Pro is that little bit safer where crumbs and splashes are concerned.
The clear edition costs £14.97 (down from £19.97 on the MediaDevil website), while the antibacterial edition is £16.97 (down from £21.97).
